14-19th December Kristin was doing her first Spirituals-tour in Italy:
Cosenza, Salerna, Rome and Sardinia. The album is being released in Italy 19th February 07 (Emarcy/Italy).

September 25th Kristin Asbjørnsen is releasing her album «Wayfaring Stranger – a spiritual songbook», based on African-American spirituals. Sixteen years ago Kristin inherited a great number of spirituals from the singer Ruth Reese and Kristin has recently made new interpretations together with Jarle Bernhoft (basses, guitars, vocals), Jostein Ansnes (guitars, lap steel, vocals) and Anders Engen (percussion, piano). The album is produced by Anders Engen. Releases in Europe: Spring 2007.

This summer Kristin has been doing concerts with both Dadafon and her new spirituals-quartet, including gigs at Molde Jazzfestival, Oslo Jazzfestival, Olavsfestspillene, Lost Weekend, Vestfoldspillene etc.

Kristin won the Norwegian Film award: Best Norwegian film music 2005 (Kosmorama Film Festival).

Kristin participates on the Norwegian composer, pianist and novelist Ketil Bjørnstad’s UK tour (Arts council England’s concert hall tour) together with musicians like Andy Sheppard, Svante Henrysson, Eivind Aarseth and Arild Andersen.

Kristin presents her new solo-project in Theater Lantaren, Rotterdam (www.lantaren-venster.nl with Jostein Ansnes (guitars & vocals), Jarle Bernhoft (guitars & vocals) and Anders Engen (drums).

Autumn 2005 Dadafon released their fifth album «Lost Love Chords», once again to rave reviews.
